Brilliant At Home | In-Home Dentistry in Orange County

The First At-Home Visit

Comprehensive
At-Home Dental Visit $599

A clear first step for patients who have difficulty getting to the dental office. The $599 visit includes:

  • A dental exam of the teeth, gums, dentures, oral tissues, and areas of concern.
  • Dental X-rays when clinically indicated.
  • Initial cleaning and irrigation as clinically appropriate and tolerated; the specific care provided depends on the examination.
  • Dental prescriptions when clinically indicated. Pharmacy charges for medication are separate.
  • A practical care plan explaining what needs attention, what can be monitored, and possible next steps.
  • Travel within our standard service area, with no separate house-call fee.

Additional treatment, if recommended, is discussed and priced separately before proceeding. Clinical findings and patient tolerance determine which parts of the visit can be completed safely.

Where We Visit

Now serving select Orange County communities. Not sure whether your home or residential community is in our service area? Call us and we'll check your address. Visits outside our standard area may be possible depending on location and scheduling; any additional travel cost will be discussed before booking.

What We Can Do at Home

Services may include dental exams and problem-focused visits, portable X-rays, appropriate preventive and cleaning care, fillings and other conservative treatment, denture evaluations, adjustments, repairs, relines and new dentures, maintenance of implant-supported removable teeth, and selected uncomplicated extractions. An evaluation helps determine what can safely be done in the patient's setting and whether an office or specialist visit is more appropriate.

Dentistry Designed Around the Patient

The right treatment depends on the patient's comfort, medical circumstances, ability to tolerate care, daily environment, caregiver support, and long-term goals. We focus on practical recommendations that help patients remain comfortable and functional while addressing pain, infection, and oral health needs.

For Families and Caregivers

Coordinating care for a parent or loved one can be difficult. We work with patients, families, caregivers, and authorized decision-makers to explain findings, options, fees, and next steps. We'll discuss consent and any necessary documentation before the appointment.

Request a Visit for a Loved One

For Assisted Living and Memory Care Communities

We provide care in many residential settings and can coordinate visits for multiple residents when scheduling allows. Our pace and treatment recommendations account for cognitive impairment, mobility limitations, cooperation, comfort, and safety.

Have Questions About In-Home Dentistry

Here are answers to common questions from patients, families, and caregivers.

Who is Brilliant At Home for?

Patients who have difficulty reaching a traditional dental office, including older adults, people with limited mobility, and residents of assisted living or memory care. You do not have to be completely bedbound.

Do you really perform dentistry in the patient's home?

Yes. We bring portable dental equipment to the patient's residence. Which services we can provide depends on the patient, the setting, and clinical safety.

What is included in the first $599 visit?

The dentist's travel within our standard service area, a dental exam, X-rays when clinically indicated, initial cleaning and irrigation as appropriate and tolerated, indicated dental prescriptions, and a care plan. Pharmacy charges and additional dental treatment are separate.

Is there an additional travel fee?

No separate travel fee applies within our standard service area. Ask us about availability and any travel charge before booking a location outside that area.

What areas do you serve?

We serve select Orange County communities. Call with the patient's address and we'll confirm whether it falls within our current service area.

What treatment can be done at home?

Depending on the patient and setting, care may include exams, X-rays, cleaning, conservative fillings, selected uncomplicated extractions, denture services, and implant overdenture maintenance. We determine what is appropriate after an evaluation.

Can you take dental X-rays at home?

Yes. Portable dental imaging may be used when clinically indicated.

Can you clean someone's teeth at home?

Yes, when appropriate. The kind and extent of cleaning depend on oral health findings, medical history, and what the patient can safely tolerate.

Can you treat patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease?

We evaluate patients with cognitive impairment and tailor care to their comfort, cooperation, medical condition, and ability to consent. We coordinate with caregivers and authorized decision-makers as appropriate.

Can you visit assisted living or memory care communities?

Yes, in many communities. We coordinate with families and facility staff as needed to prepare for the visit.

Can you see multiple residents in one community?

Often, depending on scheduling and each resident's needs. Contact us to discuss coordinated visits.

Can a family member or caregiver arrange the appointment?

Yes. We may request documentation if someone else has legal authority to make healthcare decisions for the patient.

Does a family member need to be present?

That depends on the patient's ability to consent and the proposed care. We'll clarify what is needed while scheduling.

What happens after the first visit?

We explain findings, recommended treatment or monitoring, and fees for any additional care. Follow-up treatment is scheduled separately when needed.

What if treatment cannot safely be performed at home?

We will explain why and discuss an appropriate office or specialist setting for the procedure.

Do you accept dental insurance?

Brilliant At Home is a private-pay service. If the patient has out-of-network benefits, documentation may be available for submission to the plan. Reimbursement depends on the individual policy and is not guaranteed.

Is Brilliant At Home a home health agency?

No. It is an in-home dental service of Brilliant Denture & Implant Studio, an independent dental practice. It is not a Medicare-certified home health agency.

How do I get started?

Call us with the patient's location and dental concerns. We'll check the service area, answer questions, and help schedule an initial visit.
