Brilliant At Home is our in-home dental service, bringing thoughtful, high-quality dental care directly to patients where they live.

It is an extension of Brilliant Denture & Implant Studio in Placentia - the same dentist, the same standards of care, just a different way to experience Brilliant.

Who is in-home dentistry for?

Brilliant At Home is available to anyone who would benefit from receiving dental care at home.

We especially enjoy caring for older adults, patients with limited mobility, homebound individuals, and those living in assisted living or memory care communities. In-home care can also make dentistry significantly easier for families and caregivers who would otherwise need to coordinate transportation to a dental office.

You do not have to be homebound to receive care at home.

What dental services can you provide at home?

More than you might expect.

Depending on your individual needs, we can provide:

Comprehensive dental examinations
Digital dental X-rays
Professional cleanings and preventive care
Fillings and restorative dentistry
Denture evaluations and adjustments
Denture repairs and relines
Evaluation of toothaches and other dental concerns
Ongoing dental care and maintenance

Some procedures are better suited to our Placentia studio or may require a specialist. If that's the case, we'll explain your options and help determine the best next step.

What does a new patient visit include?

Our introductory $599 New Patient Visit gives us a comprehensive picture of your oral health and establishes a plan for ongoing care.

Your visit includes:

Comprehensive Dental Examination

A thorough evaluation of your teeth, gums, bite, existing dental work, dentures or prosthetics, and oral tissues.

Digital Dental X-Rays

Portable digital imaging allows us to diagnose concerns that can't be seen through an examination alone.

Professional Dental Cleaning

Preventive cleaning to remove plaque, tartar and surface staining.

Personalized Treatment Plan

We'll explain what we find, answer your questions and discuss any recommended care.

Travel within our standard service area is included in the $599 introductory visit.

Where do you provide in-home dental care?

We serve Placentia and many surrounding Orange County communities, including Yorba Linda, Brea, Fullerton, Anaheim, Anaheim Hills, Villa Park, Orange, North Tustin, Tustin, Garden Grove, Buena Park, La Habra and surrounding areas.

Because city boundaries can extend beyond our regular service area, contact us with the patient's address and we'll be happy to confirm availability.

Do you visit assisted living and memory care communities?

Yes.

We provide dental care in private residences as well as assisted living, memory care and other residential communities.

For patients with cognitive or physical limitations, receiving care in familiar surroundings can sometimes make the experience significantly easier. Family members and caregivers are welcome to be involved when appropriate.

How do I prepare my home for a dental visit?

Very little preparation is necessary.

We'll bring the portable dental equipment, instruments and supplies needed for your appointment. Depending on the treatment planned, we may ask for access to an electrical outlet and an appropriate area to work.

Please have an up-to-date medication list, relevant medical information and any questions or dental concerns available for Dr. Barrett.

We'll bring the dental office to you.

Is in-home dentistry safe?

Yes. Patient safety and infection control remain priorities regardless of where care is provided.

Sterilized instruments and appropriately disinfected portable equipment are brought to each appointment, and a designated treatment area is established within the home.

Your home may be a different setting, but our standards of care aren't.

What if I need treatment that can't be done at home?

That's one of the advantages of receiving care through Brilliant.

If a procedure requires equipment, technology or a clinical environment that isn't appropriate for the home, we can discuss completing your treatment at Brilliant Denture & Implant Studio in Placentia or coordinate appropriate specialty care when necessary.

Your home isn't the limit of your dental care. It's simply another place where your care can begin.

Do you accept dental insurance?

Brilliant is an out-of-network dental practice.

If your PPO dental plan includes out-of-network benefits, our team can assist with submitting eligible claims so that you can receive any reimbursement provided by your plan.

Benefits vary by insurance plan, so reimbursement cannot be guaranteed.

Can I schedule an appointment for my parents or another family member?

Absolutely.

Do you accept PPO dental insurance?

PPO Insurance Assistance Available

Brilliant At Home is an out-of-network mobile dental practice. Payment is made directly to Brilliant at the time of service. For patients with eligible PPO benefits, our team can verify out-of-network coverage and submit your claim on your behalf so your insurance carrier can reimburse you directly according to your plan.

We work with many patients who have PPO dental insurance. We're out of network, so we will check your benefits and let you know what reimbursement may be available.
